Solo para cello, (ensō # 10)

Solo para cello, (ensō # 10) is a sensory exercise exploring the existence of the figure of the concert performer and the conditioning it imposes on the audience. The installation consists of a cello and a computer, both located on the stage of a concert hall. A loudspeaker connected to the computer has been placed in the rear of the musical instrument, reproducing a series of musical works. The aim of this spatial arrangement is to eliminate the figure of the concert performer by changing the way the audience inhabits the configuration of the concert hall. This change in the way the audience inhabits the concert hall also implies a transformation in the way they listen to music in the space, which begins to be heard both consciously and unconsciously.
