He holds a master's degree in musical performance from the Higher Institute of Arts in Havana. Since 2013, he has been part of the catalog of musicians at the Electroacoustic Music Laboratory, founded by composer Juan Blanco. His work explores the creative processes inherent in all forms of existence, aiming to weave new perceptual connections between people and their environment.
His works have been exhibited in numerous prestigious institutions, including the Center for the Development of Visual Arts (CDAV) in Havana, Cuba; the Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Center in Havana, Cuba; the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba; the Havana National Pavilion, Cuba; the Cécilia F Gallery in Paris, France; the Centre Intermondes in La Rochelle, France; and the Intermedia Platform in Nantes, France. He has also participated in major events such as the 12th Havana Biennial, Cuba; the 6th International Chamber Music Festival Leo Brouwer, Cuba; and the Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana, Cuba.
In addition, he has collaborated with prominent Cuban traditional music orchestras such as Rubalcaba and Barbarito Díez, as well as with the early music ensemble Ars Longa and the Esteban Salas Cabinet in Havana. With the latter, he contributed to the restoration and recording of historical works by Cuban composers Juan París and Cayetano Pagueras.
He has received several significant awards that highlight his artistic excellence, including the First Prize in Musical Composition from the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havana, the Antonia Eiriz National Creation Grant from the National Association Hermanos Saiz, and the "21" scholarship from the Center for the Development of Visual Arts (CDAV) in Havana.
He currently lives in Nantes, France, where he continues to develop his multidisciplinary artistic practice while teaching flute and chamber music.
